RETURNING TO CAMP

You could fight it, but seriously, how awesome does another summer back at camp sound?! So, ditch the idea of a chilly wet winter in SA and sign up to return for another amazing summer! Regardless of what company you went with initially, Chilli Adventures can sort out everything to enable you to get back to camp for another awesome summer.

If you applied with CHILLI last year, then simply forward us written job confirmation from your Camp Director and let us know which payment option you’d like to take. |

If you applied with another agency last year then simply complete a basic online profile, and forward us that same letter from your camp director as well as payment option selection. |
Chilli will then contact you to get the following:
1 passport/id photo; 1 reference; a copy of your passport and a signed program agreement. It really is as simple as that!
Returnee Program Fees
Whichever payment option you take, you will only pay the returnee program fee of $395. This year that total combined fee for camp and yourself is lower than any in the industry! In order to provide you with maximum flexibility, you have three options for how to make that $395 payment.
1. $395 Fee Paid by Camp initially - Your camp will pay the full fee of $395 (USD). This will then be subtracted from your camp salary.
2. $395 Fee Paid by you initially - You will pay the full fee of $395 in Rand in South Africa. Nothing will then be subtracted from you pocket money. No charge for program fees will be deducted by your camp from your total pocket money.
3. $395 Split Fees - Your camp will pay half fees ($195 USD) and you will pay the other half in South Africa. Camp will then subtract the $195 fee from your total pocket money at the end of the summer.
Returnee Pocket Money
As a returnee to camp you get to negotiate your own contract and pocket money directly with your camp. Returnees are generally paid $2000 or more per summer depending on position. Chat to your camp and see what they are open to. If you need help with this, chat to Chilli and we can assist.
Travel to Camp
As a returnee you will arrange all your own transport to and from camp. Just shout if you need help from Chilli as we can assist with all travel arrangements. Many returnees choose to arrive at camp early for the ‘pre-camp’ period. This is a nice time to catch up with old friends and make some extra cash working to help get camp ready for the coming summer.
Want to return to Summer Camp in the US but looking for a new experience at another camp?
Most people continue to go back to ‘their’ camp. If you’re looking for a new experience however, its possible to place you at a different camp. Most important for this is that you obtain a letter of recommendation from your first camp director. Please contact your local Chilli office for further details.
