Are you Eligible for the Work UK program and the Working Holiday Makers visa?

Every South African passport holder between the age of 18-29 is eligible for the two year WHM (Working Holiday Maker visa) for the United Kingdom.  You DON’T need to be a student!  If you are not South African, but are from one of the Commonwealth countries then you can apply so long as you have a resident permit or study visa for SA valid beyond your proposed return to South Africa.
The Working Holiday Maker visa is granted once only. So if you’ve had it before then unfortunately you will not be eligible again.

UK Consulate WHM Visa Requirements

	Valid South African passport.
	Two passport photographs (colour)
	3-months ba our name with a minimum balance of R16,000. This should be on an official bank letterhead as no ATM statements will be accepted.
	3-months bank statement from your parents account (to show that these funds were accumulated and not loaned, as loans will not be accepted) or a letter from parents stating that the money for your traveling is a gift and not a loan.
	Proof of accommodation upon arrival in the UK (Chilli Adventures can provide this if you are taking the arrival housing option).
	Job offer, letter or contract from your employer stating your position, salary and length of employment with the company.
	3 Months wage slips.
	Evidence of plans to return to South Africa for employment or study.

*  Please be sure to make a duplicate set of the documents above for your own file.  The ORIGINALS should be submitted to Chilli Adventures for submission to the UK consulate.

How do I Apply?

	Contact Chilli Adventures to book a personal appointment.  We can then confirm your eligibility and run through the program details and options with you.
	Complete the Chilli Adventures application form and make your application deposit (see fees above)
	An experienced staff member will then set up a visa appointment for you to come through to us with the relevant documentation required by the UK consulate.  We will then assist you with the completion of the necessary application forms and submit this on your behalf to the UK consulate.
