Assistance with suitable CV / Resume

Chilli Adventures staff will assist you with tips on putting together a CV suitable for various types of employment.  Together with past participants we will share our hot tips to successfully securing a job prior to departure.

Housing Assistance

 A Roof over your Head for the first week in the UK is a great idea!   Chilli Adventures together with our overseas partners offer radically discounted housing for a weeks kip in London upon arrival.  Stay in a house with other South Africans.  All houses have Broadband Internet access, Satellite TV, Fully appointed house (including cupboards, min of 2 bathrooms, 2 persons per room, fully appointed kitchen), Pick-up from Impi offices, A local area orientation tour to point out shops, facilities etc. NOT included: Meals & bedding.  This option is way cheaper than a youth hostel!

Support from Experienced and Friendly Staff

The full-time staff in our local offices together with our national team of past participants countrywide are dedicated to giving you the very best service around. We have all experienced working and traveling overseas and so will be able to offer additional advice of where to go and how to make it all happen!

Visa Assistance

Chilli Adventures assist you with all the paper work for your Working Holiday Makers Visa.  With this visa, you can work legally in the UK for up to one year (working full time) or two years (working part time).  Once we’ve helped you complete the necessary paperwork, we will submit this along with your supporting documentation to the UK Consulate via DHL.  Your passport and visa if granted will be returned to you in approximately 3-6 weeks.

Application Process

Once you complete the simple online application form, your local Chilli Adventures office will contact you to go over any questions you may have, and let you know the next step in the process.  Following your payment of the application deposit (see costs page), one of our national team will be in touch with you to arrange an informal one-on-one question and answer interview. This session tells us more about you and allows you to find out more about the program.  After this session, we will notify you if you are accepted and invite you through to a visa session.  If for any reason, you are not accepted onto the program, your application deposit is refunded in full.

Acceptance Session

This signals your official acceptance onto the program and allows us to pass along some important information to you.  This includes full details of the application process at the UK consulate, the paperwork required, and instructions on completing application forms.  If you have chosen the Austin Powers or Queen Mother options we will also talk at length about securing jobs in the UK, finding accommodation in your chosen area as well as discussing both International and US domestic travel options.  We will run through all costs as well as the process from acceptance to departure.  A great time to get lots of your questions answered!

Comprehensive Work and Travel Insurance

Our comprehensive work and travel insurance with medical, baggage and liability coverage is optional for those traveling to the UK.  It will ensure that you are covered for every eventuality from medical to baggage and liability to trip cancellation.  Chat to your local Chilli office about length and level of coverage available.

Chilli Tax Service

Sadly, paying taxes is an inevitable part of life.  Happily however, you are eligible to claim the majority of these tax deductions back. Chilli Adventures offer a tax service that take the worry and hassle out of filing your UK tax returns. For more information chat to your local Chilli Office.
